Job description
About Protera Health
Protera Health is a health-tech startup focused on improving musculoskeletal (MSK) care through a multidisciplinary, tech-enabled model. Built by orthopedic surgeons and leaders in value-based care, the company aims to care for patients with the same level of attention and compassion it would want for its own family members.
The platform supports people dealing with back, neck, and joint pain by helping them recover function, ease pain, and improve quality of life through personalized virtual care journeys and continuous support.
About the Role
This Senior Manager, Partnerships position sits at the overlap of client relationship management and hands-on execution. The person in this role will be responsible for partner success, from onboarding and adoption through ongoing delivery, while also leading the project management needed to keep launches and accounts on track.
This is a highly active role rather than a simple relationship role. It calls for strong ownership, excellent coordination skills, and a drive to deliver measurable outcomes for partners. It is well-suited for someone who wants to grow quickly, manage important accounts, and contribute to a company in a fast-scaling stage.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a professional and polished representative of the company when working with external partners.
Serve as the main contact for partner relationships, handling communication from onboarding through ongoing support and delivery.
Own project management for new partner launches, including timelines, internal coordination, and collaboration with outside stakeholders.
Monitor partner deliverables and performance metrics, identify risks early, and resolve issues before they become blockers.
Work closely with internal teams to communicate partner needs and turn feedback into practical improvements.
Create data-driven presentations and run monthly account reviews as well as quarterly business reviews to show value and identify expansion opportunities.
Stay highly organized and detail-oriented, using a structured approach to ensure partner commitments are delivered consistently and on time.
Required Experience and Qualifications
You should bring at least 4 years of professional experience in partnerships, account management, or implementation management within the healthcare sector.
Experience in a startup environment is considered a strong advantage.
You must have direct experience with partner reporting, including working with data, shaping reports, and supporting dashboard creation.
Strong communication skills are essential, especially when presenting detailed metrics, strategic updates, and complex information to external partners or stakeholders.
You should also have solid technical and data fluency, along with enough familiarity with modern data tools to handle technical workflows and discuss integrations confidently.
A disciplined, well-structured project management style and a strong history of delivering complex work on schedule are important for success in this role.
Perks and Benefits
- Fully remote work arrangement within the United States
- Competitive pay with the possibility of bonuses
- Healthcare coverage
- Paid time off
- 401(k) retirement plan
- The chance to make a direct positive impact on patients’ lives every day
Additional Information
This role is designed for someone who enjoys building strong external relationships while also managing execution with precision. It requires a mix of communication, analytics, coordination, and partner advocacy to support success across accounts.
