Role overview
The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore is looking for a Senior Manager specialising in compensation to help shape and run its compensation strategy. The role focuses on ensuring that pay policies and reward structures remain attractive in the market while staying fair and internally sound.
What you will work on
- Use established compensation practices to define policy direction and to plan, build, and implement reward frameworks that support attraction and retention.
- Take part in designing salary structures and benchmarking them against the market.
- Contribute to the yearly review of salaries, promotions, and bonuses so that URA maintains competitive and equitable compensation and benefits arrangements.
- Support related work such as job evaluation activities and analysis of the organisational structure and strategic workforce planning when needed.
What the team is seeking
- Hands-on experience in compensation and benefits work, with a background of 5 to 10 years in HR C&B practice.
- Exposure to the Singapore Public Service environment would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical ability and the confidence to simplify complex issues into clear recommendations.
- A results-driven approach, persistence, and practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort using HR systems, analytics tools, and visualisation software, with advanced MS Excel skills as a minimum.
Additional information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Singapore. The role involves contributing to both day-to-day compensation processes and broader workforce planning and organisational review efforts.
