Senior Project Manager

Role overview

Société Africaine d'Innovation et de Construction (SAIC) is looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to take ownership of key strategic initiatives across the business in the United Arab Emirates. This is a senior-level, full-time position for someone who can steer complex projects from start to finish while keeping delivery aligned with time, scope, budget, and quality expectations.

The right person will bring strong leadership, structure, and sound judgment, along with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own project delivery from kickoff through closure and post-completion review.
• Set clear project scope, goals, outputs, timelines, and resource needs.
• Build and maintain plans, budgets, schedules, and performance tracking measures.
• Bring together cross-functional teams and ensure smooth collaboration across stakeholders.
• Spot project risks, dependencies, and issues early, then put mitigation actions in place.
• Track progress closely and share regular status updates with leadership and stakeholders.
• Make sure deliverables satisfy quality expectations and wider business objectives.
• Handle stakeholder expectations and preserve strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Improve project delivery practices, methods, and workflows over time.
• Guide, coach, and develop team members to build capability and performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Solid prior experience in a Senior Project Manager role or another senior project leadership position.
• Good understanding of project management frameworks, methods, and standard practices.
• Background in managing large-scale, cross-functional, or enterprise-level initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving ability.
• Capability to juggle several projects and competing priorities at the same time.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum are preferred.
