Job description

We are hiring a Quality Engineering professional to focus on API automation and performance testing. This is a full-time remote position.

Build, update, and support automated API test coverage using Postman and Newman.
Check REST APIs for functional behavior, stability, and data correctness.
Connect API automation runs to CI/CD workflows, with Azure Pipelines as the preferred platform.
Review automation outcomes and translate findings into practical feedback for engineering teams.
Plan and run performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability tests with Apache JMeter.
Test API performance by measuring response time, throughput, and system response under load.
Assess front-end performance through UI testing and responsiveness checks.
Develop realistic test cases in JMeter using parameterization, correlation, assertions, and listeners.
Track system behavior during testing and isolate performance bottlenecks.
Study test outcomes to determine the underlying causes of performance issues.
Prepare concise performance reports with key metrics, charts, and recommendations.
Work closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to improve application speed and reliability.
Re-test fixes and confirm that performance improvements are effective.
Weave automation and performance checks into continuous testing pipelines.
Support testing efforts in cloud-based and microservices environments.
Continuously refine frameworks, testing approach, and QA standards.

At least 5 years of experience in QA, with a strong emphasis on API automation and performance testing.
Practical, hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for both API and UI performance work.
Strong working knowledge of Postman and Newman for API automation.
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON.

Any graduate can apply. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant QA experience.
