Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and highly detail-focused Senior QA/QC Engineer to support our project team in Riyadh. In this role, you will lead quality assurance and quality control activities, making sure construction work aligns with project specifications, approved procedures, and recognized international quality standards. The position also plays an important part in driving ongoing improvement across project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage QA/QC compliance against project standards, technical specifications, and approved procedures.
- Carry out and oversee site inspections, testing activities, and quality audits.
- Examine QA/QC documentation, method statements, inspection requests, and material submittals.
- Work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to close out quality issues.
- Track corrective and preventive actions and confirm that observations are properly resolved.
- Draft quality reports and keep complete, accurate QA/QC records and supporting documentation.
- Assist project teams in meeting quality targets and strengthening continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure work activities satisfy client expectations, company standards, and all relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
- Applicants should bring 8 to 12 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction projects.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection processes, and construction standards is essential.
- Prior exposure to QA/QC documentation control, audits, and reporting is needed.
- Knowledge of international quality standards and project compliance requirements is expected.
- Solid working ability with Microsoft Office and related engineering software is required.
- A valid Saudi Council of Engineers membership is preferred or may be required.
