Role overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced SEO Content Specialist to join an in-house marketing team focused on improving organic search performance. The role centers on producing and refining website content that outperforms competing pages in search results.

What you'll do

  • Optimize website pages to improve search visibility and organic rankings.
  • Write SEO-focused content that is designed to compete strongly against rival webpages.
  • Use Yoast SEO to implement on-page optimization best practices.
  • Carry out keyword research and apply findings to content strategy.
  • Build internal links and external links where appropriate to strengthen page performance.
  • Apply analytical thinking and strong copywriting to improve results across content assets.

What the role involves

The position requires someone who can combine search marketing knowledge with writing quality. Success in this job depends on creating stronger, more effective webpages than competitors while supporting broader SEO goals. This is a remote position with full-time hours.

Compensation and work schedule

  • Base pay is offered according to experience.
  • Performance-linked bonuses and commissions are included.
  • The position is for 40 hours per week.
  • Standard working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Extra hours may be needed to finish assignments.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.

Education

An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree with a focus on business or marketing is preferred.

Additional preferences

  • Working knowledge of WordPress and SEO is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the company’s services and broader digital marketing offerings is a plus.
  • Strong writing and editing ability will help you stand out.
  • Relevant certifications such as Hootsuite, HubSpot, or DigitalMarketer are beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to management, customer service, or small-business environments is also valuable.

The ideal applicant is proactive, self-driven, collaborative, and eager to learn quickly. You should be able to understand client needs and tailor services accordingly, while contributing to the team’s growth and ongoing improvement.

Important experience requirement

Applications are expected to show at least 1 to 2 years of digital marketing experience. Candidates without this background are not considered. In addition, a minimum of 2 years of SEO experience is required, along with a strong interest in search optimization and content writing.
