Job description

Job Summary

This role is focused on hands-on delivery of SEO and email marketing work across the organization’s digital properties, including event websites, landing pages, content hubs, and the internal CRM. The position plays an important part in lifting organic reach, attracting qualified visitors, improving email interaction, nurturing leads, and driving search- and email-based acquisition for events.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out SEO activities for event websites and other digital assets according to approved plans and strategies.
  • Research keywords and interpret search intent to strengthen event visibility and support organic expansion.
  • Work closely with content and digital teams so SEO execution stays aligned with marketing goals.
  • Review and improve technical SEO areas such as site structure, crawlability, indexing, load speed, and mobile performance.
  • Spot technical SEO gaps using standard tools and established best practices.
  • Partner with IT and development teams to get fixes and enhancements implemented on time.
  • Handle SEO setup in WordPress, including metadata management, page optimization, and plugin configuration.
  • Make HTML/CSS and CMS-level changes to support SEO, page design, layout, and content presentation.
  • Ensure all technical changes preserve website stability, performance, and SEO quality.
  • Optimize on-page factors such as headings, internal links, URL structure, and content flow.
  • Support SEO-focused content development by sharing keyword guidance and optimization recommendations.
  • Make sure content is search-friendly while still clear, readable, and relevant.
  • Plan, launch, and oversee email marketing campaigns through the company’s in-house CRM platform.
  • Create and edit email templates using HTML and CSS, with a focus on responsiveness and compatibility across devices.
  • Coordinate email content with SEO, content, and wider digital marketing activities.
  • Measure organic and campaign performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms such as SEMrush and Ahrefs.
  • Interpret results to uncover patterns, opportunities, and improvement areas.
  • Prepare reports that translate performance data into practical recommendations aligned with marketing targets.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline, along with 2 to 3 years of practical SEO experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage SEO and email marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress sites.
  • Hands-on use of HTML and basic CSS for on-page optimization, content structuring, and email template creation.
  • Experience in events, B2B, or multi-brand environments is beneficial but not mandatory.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
