About the Role
Avensys Consulting is looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Developer with at least 6 years of practical, hands-on experience on the ServiceNow platform. The role calls for strong technical capability in UI Builder for building Workspace front ends, along with ServiceNow scripting expertise. Experience with CSM, NowAssist, and Agentic AI implementations will be considered a strong advantage.
This position is based in Bengaluru, India. The working arrangement is remote after an initial month in Hyderabad, where the candidate needs to be present onsite.
The engagement type is contract for 12 months, with the possibility of a permanent association with Avensys.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and configure modern, scalable user interfaces using UI Builder.
- Develop, customize, and support applications on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and integration APIs.
- Build and improve Service Portal elements, including widgets, catalog items, and workflows.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix issues across ServiceNow applications and customizations.
- Use NowAssist and Agentic AI capabilities to enhance automation, intelligence, and customer experience.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 6 years of hands-on development work on the ServiceNow platform.
- About 8 years of overall experience in the software industry, building enterprise applications.
- Strong command of ServiceNow scripting and platform customization.
- Practical experience with UI Builder, Script Includes, and Service Portal development.
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and React for ServiceNow customization.
- Experience with ACL, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and reporting dashboards.
- Hands-on implementation exposure to NowAssist, GenAI features, and Agentic AI solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Prior implementation experience in Customer Service Management (CSM).
Eligibility
Any graduate can apply. Candidates should have the required ServiceNow experience and be available for an initial one-month onsite period in Hyderabad before moving to remote work.
