Role overview

An upscale 5-star hotel on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia is looking for a dependable and experienced Shared Pool Lifeguard. The position focuses on protecting the safety and comfort of guests using the shared pool facilities while supporting the hotel’s high service standards.

Key duties

You will keep a close watch on the pool area at all times, uphold safety policies, and react immediately if an emergency occurs. The role also includes delivering courteous guest service, keeping the pool surroundings clean and safe, and working closely with other hotel team members to improve the overall guest experience.

Candidate profile

The hotel is looking for someone who is alert, physically fit, and able to communicate clearly and professionally. Prior experience in a luxury hotel or resort lifeguarding environment is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Current lifeguard certification, along with valid First Aid and CPR training
• Previous lifeguarding experience, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort setting
• Excellent swimming ability and strong physical stamina
• Ability to stay focused and respond rapidly during emergencies
• Strong verbal communication and people skills
• Guest-focused mindset with polished professional behavior
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Collaborative attitude and a proactive approach to safety
• Applicant must already be based in the UAE
