Role summary

This on-site role in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is centered on keeping railway signaling systems dependable, available, and safe. The position involves maintenance planning, failure investigation, technical coordination, and hands-on support in an active railway environment to improve overall system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Track signaling system health and ensure it remains operating effectively.
• Carry out Level 1 and Level 2 investigations for signaling issues and determine the root cause of failures.
• Review, update, and follow maintenance schedules, checklists, and procedures.
• Take part in field maintenance work and supervise on-ground maintenance activities when needed.
• Examine system logs and diagnostic records to isolate faults.
• Work closely with traffic control and maintenance teams during incidents and service interruptions.
• Provide support during urgent restoration efforts, including shift or on-call duty if required.
• Follow safety rules, maintenance standards, and regulatory obligations at all times.
• Spot opportunities for technical improvement and suggest modifications or upgrades.
• Prepare technical documentation, failure analysis reports, and performance dashboards.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering is required.
• Railway Engineering is preferred as an academic background.
• Applicants must be Saudi nationals.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role may involve shift work or on-call availability during emergencies and restoration activities.
