About the Company

Binance operates a major global blockchain ecosystem built around one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges by trading volume and user count. Millions of users across more than 100 countries rely on it for security, transparency, fast trading infrastructure, deep liquidity, and a wide range of digital-asset services. Its ecosystem spans trading, finance, education, research, payments, institutional offerings, Web3 products, and more, all aimed at expanding financial access through blockchain and digital assets.

About the Role

This role offers the chance to help strengthen security across blockchain projects and contribute to the wider crypto community. You will collaborate closely with teams across Binance, working on advanced crypto and security work, while also partnering beyond the security function to deepen your understanding of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Review smart contracts and related protocols for security weaknesses and produce detailed audit documentation.
  • Build and improve automated tools for scanning and monitoring smart contracts.
  • Use analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities in live contracts and raise risk alerts quickly when needed.
  • Investigate security breaches end-to-end, including root cause, attack flow, prevention measures, remediation, and basic fund tracing.
  • Show solid knowledge of EVM-compatible chains and DeFi design approaches.
  • Analyze newly reported smart contract vulnerabilities and summarize why the exploit happened so that similar issues can be identified earlier in the future.

Requirements

  • Comfort with at least one blockchain-related programming language such as Solidity, Go, or Rust.
  • Foundational knowledge of common smart contract security issues, recent incidents, and simulation-based testing.
  • Understanding of blockchain and smart contract fundamentals, plus experience using blockchain explorers and writing scripts to collect and scan data.
  • Awareness of Solidity library types and the security considerations tied to them.
  • Familiarity with the smart contract development and testing workflow, along with transaction analysis.

Additional Beneficial Skills

  • Interest in cryptocurrency, DeFi, smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
  • Working knowledge of VSCode, Git, or similar version control tools.
  • Basic grasp of identifying, exploiting, and preventing security vulnerabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with smart contract development tools such as Foundry or Hardhat.
  • Strong motivation to work with Binance, comfort with remote collaboration, a sense of ownership, and a humble, positive attitude.

Why Binance

  • Help shape the future within a leading blockchain ecosystem.
  • Work with world-class talent in a global, user-focused organization with a flat structure.
  • Take on fast-moving, distinctive projects with plenty of autonomy.
  • Grow in a results-oriented environment that supports learning and career development.
  • Receive a competitive salary and company benefits.
  • Work-from-home arrangement, depending on the needs of the business team.
