About the role
The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join its remote team full time. This position pays $75,000 per year and may involve domestic travel up to 20%, with occasional international travel if needed.
You’ll support a mission-focused organization that helps advance global entrepreneurship through programs, educational resources, research, and community engagement. The work environment is collaborative and fast-moving, and the role is designed for someone early in their career who wants to grow while contributing creative, detail-oriented work.
In this position, you’ll help strengthen the Center’s digital presence, connect with its entrepreneurial community, highlight sponsor and funder leadership, and support efforts to attract new entrepreneurs and supporters.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the organization’s social channels in both proactive and reactive ways, building content that reflects the mission and keeps the brand voice consistent.
- Plan, create, edit, publish, and curate daily content across platforms, including original posts and material sourced from relevant thought leaders and partners.
- Develop and update a cross-platform content calendar tied to programs, events, research, and campaigns.
- Help design and run social campaigns with measurable goals, especially those aimed at increasing program applications and engagement.
- Create learning processes to identify what content works for different audiences and share those insights with the broader team.
- Produce content that supports sponsors and funders by elevating their expertise, leadership, and resources.
- Track social trends and platform changes, identify useful opportunities, and suggest ways the team can join relevant conversations.
- Contribute to measurement plans and KPIs used to evaluate the impact of social media work.
- Assist with promotion for summits and virtual events, including pre-event teasers, live coverage, and follow-up storytelling.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of practical experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a closely related area; internship experience may also count.
- Strong personal interest in social platforms, with active use of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- A creative, strategic, and analytical mindset with the ability to create content that engages varied audiences.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from beginning to end, along with solid time management and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to adjust tone for different audiences and channels.
- Comfort working under pressure in a dynamic setting with changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to stay composed in stressful situations; a good sense of humor is appreciated.
- Clear interest in entrepreneurship and in expanding opportunity for underrepresented founders.
Tools and systems
- HubSpot for social and email marketing, CRM support, campaign tracking, and contact list management.
- Canva for social graphics, event materials, and branded assets; basic design principles and template-based work are expected.
- Slack for daily internal coordination and cross-functional communication.
- Microsoft Outlook and Teams for email, scheduling, and virtual meetings.
- Mighty Networks for supporting and amplifying activity in the founder community.
