Job description
About MOO
MOO was founded in 2006 with the goal of bringing a fresh approach to print. Since then, the company has grown into a team of more than 400 people creating print and digital products for businesses of every size, from major global brands to independent creators. Its headquarters are in London, with additional sites in Dagenham, Boston, East Providence, and Denver.
Role overview
This position sits within MOO’s in-house creative agency, a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, photographers, filmmakers, and social media specialists. The social function manages MOO’s global organic channels and partners closely with the Marketing and Creative teams from early idea development through final delivery.
The Social Media Creative role combines social media strategy and content production. It is a newly formed position with strong potential to influence MOO’s social presence and wider creative work. Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, the person in this role will bring original thinking, energy, and a social-first approach to content across multiple channels.
The role is not limited to social output alone. The successful candidate will help shape ideas that can travel into broader marketing work, including paid media, brand campaigns, CTV, and other touchpoints. The ideal person is deeply immersed in social culture, understands how to adapt trends into brand-appropriate messaging, and is comfortable appearing on camera while shooting and editing short-form content. They should understand how each platform works creatively and be able to create content that feels native, engaging, and consistent with the brand.

- Draft witty, on-brand captions, hooks, and video copy.
- Produce social content independently, especially short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Keep up with social trends, platform changes, and community behaviour.
- Work with creative and production teams on briefs and shoots.
- Present concepts clearly and confidently.
- Convert creative ideas into content tailored for social platforms.
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content in Brandwatch.
- Maintain the content calendar and support a strategic posting plan with the Senior Social Media Manager.
- Handle day-to-day community management.
- Contribute to monthly reporting.
- Support engagement growth and strengthen the brand’s online presence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience creating social media content, either in-house or in an agency setting.
- A strong social-first creative mindset with a sharp eye for quality content.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling ability.
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively.
- Examples of lo-fi content and video work, with a portfolio included.
- Good understanding of social performance metrics and data extraction.
Preferred skills
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to design graphics.
Benefits
- 25 days of annual leave, increasing by one day each year for up to 5 years.
- Matched pension contribution.
- Paid parental leave.
- Private healthcare.
- Life insurance.
- Season ticket loan.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and remote options for some roles.
