Job description

About the Brand

Rude Boy is a fast-rising Caribbean beverage label with a solid base in the region and ambitious plans to expand globally. Its popularity has been shaped by strong ties to Caribbean music, nightlife, entertainment, and culture, and the brand now operates in several markets across the region.

The company is now hiring a Social Media Manager to take charge of its online presence, guide influencer and ambassador activity, and keep the brand current, engaging, and consistent across all digital channels.

Role Overview

In this position, you will lead the brand’s worldwide social media and influencer marketing efforts. Your work will focus on shaping strategy, planning and producing content, managing partnerships, and helping grow audience engagement across platforms.

You will also oversee social media managers in different markets, offering direction and support to ensure brand standards are followed, campaigns run smoothly, communities are well managed, and performance is measured and improved over time.

This role suits someone who is tuned into digital culture, can identify emerging trends early, and knows how to transform ideas into content that builds engagement and brand loyalty. It calls for creativity, structure, and leadership, along with the ability to handle several projects, teams, and markets at once.

Core Duties

Develop the brand’s global social media direction and manage the daily operation of its main social channels.

Build and maintain content calendars that support campaigns and business goals, while keeping an eye on platform performance and audience growth opportunities.

Stay informed on platform changes, digital trends, and new opportunities that can strengthen the brand’s online presence.

Work with internal teams so social media activity supports broader company objectives.

Supervise assigned island social media managers, making sure daily tasks, schedules, and campaign deliverables are completed on time.

Track progress closely, spot workflow issues early, and resolve delays or missing outputs before they affect execution.

Keep content, campaigns, and marketing initiatives aligned so messaging stays consistent and delivery remains timely.

Provide regular support and follow-up to team members so expectations and deadlines are clearly met.

Lead idea generation and campaign development from concept through to delivery.

Prepare content briefs, coordinate digital asset creation, and manage production timelines and approvals.

Promote on-the-ground brand activity effectively across social platforms.

Maintain an organised central content library and ensure all assets are easy to access.

Confirm that all published material matches brand guidelines, messaging, and market requirements.

Coordinate content needs across different markets and campaigns.

Build and manage influencer and ambassador programmes, including partnership terms and deliverables.

Handle product seeding, campaign rollout, ambassador communication, and performance tracking.

Measure influencer campaign results and produce reports on effectiveness.

Oversee community management for the brand’s global social accounts.

Review social activity across markets, identify areas for improvement, and support local teams with planning and execution.

Monitor brand sentiment, flag opportunities or concerns, and escalate customer service issues when needed.

Set community management standards and best practices for all markets.

Ensure market teams work in line with brand rules and content standards.

Track social media performance across all platforms and turn insights into practical recommendations.

Prepare regular reports covering campaign performance, audience growth, and influencer programme outcomes.

Use analytics to improve future content and campaign planning.

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate should bring at least 5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing.

You should have managed multiple social platforms for consumer-facing brands and delivered successful social campaigns.

Experience with influencers, creators, and ambassador programmes is important, along with strong planning and project management abilities.

Excellent writing and communication skills are needed, as well as experience using content creation tools and basic photo or video editing tools.

You should also be comfortable with social analytics, reporting, multiple deadlines, and fast-moving digital communities.

A strong understanding of digital culture, online trends, and audience behaviour is essential.

Preferred Background

Experience in beverage, FMCG, lifestyle, or entertainment brands is an advantage.

Previous exposure to multi-market operations or regional social media programmes is also preferred.

Experience leading social teams would be beneficial.
