Role Summary

This is a full-time, office-based position in Benghazi for a Software Officer. The role centers on keeping the company’s software environment running reliably and securely. You will support multiple departments by managing ERP platforms, resolving software-related issues, working with external vendors, and maintaining safe access to business applications. A strong focus on continuity, accurate data, and dependable systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the organization’s software systems on a day-to-day basis.
• Help protect system security and preserve the integrity of database records.
• Administer ERP tools and ensure they continue to serve business operations effectively.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software and application issues.
• Coordinate with outside vendors when technical support or software assistance is needed.
• Manage secure and efficient access to corporate applications.
• Support multiple departments by keeping essential systems stable and available.
• Contribute to smooth operational flow by reducing downtime and maintaining data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, C++, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with databases and SQL or comparable database tools.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues, debug problems, and find workable solutions.
• Exposure to engineering project management software or related tools is considered a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams from different disciplines.
• Careful attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.
• Good communication skills along with the ability to document work clearly.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a similar position will be an advantage.
