Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Administrator to join our team in Hyderabad. The role involves managing and maintaining SQL Server environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance. You will be responsible for installations, troubleshooting, migrations, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SQL Server installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server related issues, including performance bottlenecks and errors.
• Manage database security, user access, and implement patch management strategies.
• Conduct Windows server migrations and application migrations.
• Monitor system performance, review logs, and ensure system stability and scalability.
• Maintain server architecture security and implement robust data backup and recovery procedures.
• Provide technical support for both end-users and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage risks and issues, and participate in status update meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SQL Server installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows server migration and application migration.
• Proficiency in assessing system stability, security, and scalability.
• Experience in managing user access and monitoring system performance.
• Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ability to create scripts in languages such as Perl or Python.
• Familiarity with patch management, networks (LAN/WAN), and modern operating systems.
• Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection, and data backup solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with project teams and participating in status reporting.
• Well-organized with the ability to multitask and learn quickly with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
