About Sword Health

Sword Health is developing AI-driven care designed to support medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment at scale. The company is focused on transforming healthcare delivery by removing common barriers such as appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma so more people can access care when they need it.

Since 2020, Sword has grown across physical therapy, women’s health, cardiometabolic care, and mental health, and is advancing toward an always-on, AI-native care model that combines physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change in one connected experience. The platform has supported more than 700,000 members across three continents through over 10 million AI sessions, while helping 1,000+ enterprise clients reduce more than $1 billion in avoidable healthcare costs. The company is supported by 42 clinical studies, 44+ patents, and over $500 million in funding from investors such as Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund.

Role Overview

The Sr. Manager, Partnerships will be accountable for growing Sword Health’s revenue and market reach through strategic reseller relationships. This person will manage a portfolio of high-priority channel partners and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, shorten deal cycles, and increase adoption across Sword’s portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships within the Commercial team, this position focuses on building senior stakeholder relationships, shaping and executing joint growth plans, enabling partners to position Sword effectively, and turning partner activity into measurable business outcomes. The role also includes identifying new channel paths and partnership opportunities that can expand Sword’s footprint.

AI Proficiency Expectation

Sword Health expects candidates to demonstrate AI fluency as part of the hiring process. Applicants are evaluated against a three-level framework, and every hire must at least show Level 1 capability.

  • Explorer (Level 1): Uses AI every day to improve personal productivity.
  • Builder (Level 2): Designs workflows and tools that improve team-wide effectiveness.
  • Integrator (Level 3): Incorporates AI into products and processes at scale.

The required level depends on the seniority of the role, and candidates should be prepared to provide real examples of AI use in their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of reseller partners and build strategic account plans that generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline in line with commercial goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with executive sponsors, partner leaders, sales teams, customer success teams, and other stakeholders across partner organizations.
  • Create and execute joint go-to-market plans covering pipeline creation, account targeting, marketing campaigns, events, sales enablement, and executive engagement.
  • Equip partners with product knowledge, competitive context, and commercialization guidance so they can confidently present Sword and spot new opportunities.
  • Monitor partner engagement, commercial results, and growth potential to determine where to deepen investment and expand revenue impact.
  • Increase awareness and adoption of existing and newly launched Sword offerings by ensuring partners understand the full value proposition.
  • Identify new partnership models, adjacent channels, and market opportunities that can strengthen Sword’s long-term channel strategy.
  • Organize and deliver partner-facing activities such as executive meetings, customer introductions, joint events, webinars, and conference participation to build engagement and pipeline.
  • Maintain disciplined tracking of partner activity, pipeline, account plans, forecasting, reporting, and attribution in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, business development, strategic account management, or a similar commercial function.
  • Background in shaping partnership strategy and working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Experience managing revenue-producing partnerships with clear responsibility for pipeline, growth, or other commercial results.
  • Strong track record of building executive relationships and influencing stakeholders in complex organizations.
  • Solid business development capabilities, including account planning, identifying opportunities, managing multiple relationships, and driving partner engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex value propositions and lead strategic discussions.
  • Comfort working in a metrics-led role with direct accountability for partner goals, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or another CRM for managing contacts, opportunities, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Self-directed mindset with strong ownership, curiosity, and energy for building in a fast-moving environment.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States; visa sponsorship and immigration sponsorship are not available.
