What You Will Do

In this position, you will support the Store Manager in running station store operations. Your work will include helping with hiring, guiding staff, handling bookkeeping, and supporting merchandising activities. You will also contribute to maintaining high service standards and ensuring customers receive quick, courteous help.

The food service program is an important part of the operation, so you will also help make sure those standards are consistently met. The role expects someone who leads by example, works with urgency, shows patience, and brings steady leadership to the team.

Skills and Strengths Needed

You should be comfortable leading people, coordinating work, and keeping operations organized. Strong communication, customer focus, and the ability to solve problems under pressure are important. Experience with cash handling, follow-through, and safety awareness will also be valuable.

Preferred Background

Prior retail experience is helpful, as is any background in supervision or management. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, or hiring is an advantage, and familiarity with food handling is also useful. A high school or college degree is considered a plus.

Physical Requirements

The job may involve standing or walking for as long as 8 hours. You may also need to lift or carry up to 30 pounds from the ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift, and occasionally move up to 60 pounds from ground to waist height. Additional physical tasks include pushing or pulling with up to 20 pounds of force, bending at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift, and grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects with your hands. The work may also involve climbing a ladder to store or retrieve materials and to place or remove signs.
