Job description
Role Overview
GEMS Education is looking for a Store Keeper to support the school store’s day-to-day operations in Dubai. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, handling storage efficiently, and coordinating with the Purchasing Officer during budget preparation.
Key Duties
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Officer while preparing the budget.
- Handle printing requests for reports, letterheads, diaries, and similar materials.
- Oversee the school store so that inventory and storage are kept accurate and well organized.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and other database tools.
- Strong organizational ability and the capacity to stay effective under pressure.
- Good command of English in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Professional communication and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
Safeguarding and Checks
GEMS Education requires all appointed staff to meet safeguarding standards. A UK-enhanced DBS check, or an equivalent police clearance, is mandatory before joining.
