Ignite Pizzeria is an expanding pizza company based in Vancouver. The brand currently operates five neighbourhood locations: three in Vancouver, one in South Surrey, and another opening soon in North Vancouver. Role Overview
Ignite Pizzeria is hiring a Store Manager for the Mount Pleasant location. This position suits someone who can stay effective in a busy, fast-moving environment and work well with a team while guiding others confidently. It is a permanent, full-time, on-site role with competitive compensation based on experience, along with benefits.
Work Location and Schedule
The store is located at 2588 Main Street, Vancouver, BC V5T 3E4. The role requires in-person work for 40 hours per week. The schedule includes a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
Compensation
Salary is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Guide and support both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Work efficiently while setting a strong example for the team.
- Coordinate staff schedules and organize training.
- Track stock levels and place orders when needed.
- Make sure health and safety standards are followed.
- Address customer issues with professionalism and care.
- Keep the restaurant clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
- Work with ownership to support business objectives and ongoing improvements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Willingness to stay involved in day-to-day store operations.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, resilient, and dedicated work ethic.
- Availability for a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.
- Food Safety and Serving It Right certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
- Genuine interest in hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
