Store Set Team Member

Role overview

This is a hands-on field role centered in Georgia, with the main territory covering the greater Augusta area. The position also requires travel to the Charleston, South Carolina market. The core purpose of the job is to support store set activities, including preparation, new store openings, remodels, routine store visits based on a weekly schedule, product blitzes, section changes, and store relocations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out grocery, frozen, and dairy resets, including preparing category envelopes, tags, flag tags, updated planograms, and all necessary set materials such as plastic overlays, trays, pegs, labels, stickers, and chip clips.
• Clean sections, verify dates, rotate products where needed, align displays to the planogram, add new items, remove discontinued or damaged merchandise, and place tags, plastics, and flag tags in the correct locations according to company standards.
• Support, observe, and guide vendors so that planogram expectations, cleaning standards, and general housekeeping requirements are followed throughout the work area.
• Partner with store management, under the direction of the Store Set Director, to coordinate changes, moves, and other store adjustments while keeping them informed about crew updates and completed work.
• Keep the backroom organized by separating and boxing reclaim, backstock, and discontinued product.
• Identify, record, and report any planogram updates or changes that happen during resets.
• Work under the Store Set Director during category resets, blitzes, section changes, and store moves as assigned by leadership, including areas such as ice cream, cereal, and coffee.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in the vehicle so daily visits, blitz work, and complete resets can be completed accurately and on time.
• For new store setups, unpack, organize, install, and level gondolas and shelving from the ground up according to the design plan and specifications, and place shelving for freezers and dairy coolers based on the planogram.
• Assist store staff with stocking the initial load and make sure all planograms, labels, and tags are correct.
• For remodels, work with the store to clear shelves, organize product for packing, reduce customer disruption and downtime, remove old shelving, and place merchandise on new shelving according to the planogram.
• During non-set store visits, support company initiatives with store employees in a professional manner and relay store feedback to the warehouse or other relevant teams as needed, including matters related to district managers and maintenance.
• Improve the shopper experience by following the weekly plan, completing assigned work, tagging new items, adjusting sections to the planogram, removing discontinued items, checking dates, and placing trays, pegs, signage, and other support materials for current warehouse initiatives.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Work location and travel

This is a field-based position located primarily in the greater Augusta, Georgia area, with travel also required to the Charleston, South Carolina market.

Additional information

This role includes store set preparation, new store setup, remodel support, regular store visits, blitz execution, and store movement activities. All other responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed.
