Role overview
WesTrac is hiring a permanent full-time Storeperson to support its Parts Department at the Kalgoorlie branch in Western Australia. The position reports to the Parts Supervisor and is a residential role based in Kalgoorlie. The main focus is to manage store operations accurately and efficiently while helping deliver outstanding customer service through the timely handling of parts orders.
Work roster
The roster follows an 8 days on, 6 days off pattern, then 8 nights on, 6 days off. Shifts are 12 hours per day, including a 30-minute meal break.
Key duties
- Carry out day-to-day warehouse and store support tasks.
- Pick, pack, and process customer order information with accuracy.
- Operate a forklift as part of normal store operations.
- Use radio frequency scanning equipment to support inventory and order processing.
- Process orders and arrange sourcing of items from vendors when needed.
- Manage orders related to parts, repairs, and calibrations.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should hold a valid High Risk Work Licence with forklift endorsement, have prior experience in a warehouse or parts environment, be confident using computers including Microsoft Office tools, communicate clearly in both written and spoken form, and have customer service experience.
