About the Role
Vulcan, established in 1995, has grown into Australasia’s leading metals distributor and processor by consistently delivering strong service and focusing on ongoing improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, process, and pack customer orders accurately.
- Handle loading and unloading activities for trucks and couriers.
- Carry out stock counts and stocktaking tasks.
- Operate a forklift as part of daily warehouse work.
- Use basic computer systems for routine tasks.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and chain-of-responsibility procedures.
Working Hours
This role is on day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence or ticket.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or production setting.
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
- Understanding of chain-of-responsibility obligations.
