Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Storeperson/Truck Driver to join the Welshpool team. The position combines metro delivery driving with warehouse support, including receiving, storing, and dispatching stock.

Key Duties

• Operate an MR truck with a 6T trailer capacity safely and confidently to complete parts deliveries across the metro area
• Load and unload vehicles, using a forklift when required
• Keep delivery and stock records accurate and up to date
• Ensure the warehouse and vehicle remain clean, orderly, and safe
• Assist with core warehouse functions such as receiving, storing, and sending out goods
• Deliver a high standard of customer service during drop-offs and day-to-day interactions
• Look after the vehicle and equipment through proper care and maintenance
• Work independently while using sound judgment and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Current HR driver’s licence with at least 2 years of experience
• Valid forklift licence/ticket
• Good physical fitness and the ability to complete manual handling tasks
• Basic mechanical know-how for simple troubleshooting
• Strong focus on safety and quality
• Prior experience in stores or warehouse work is an advantage, though not essential
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude
