About Addepar

Addepar is a worldwide data and AI platform built to help investment professionals make sense of complex financial data and turn it into practical insight. The platform brings together portfolio, market, and client information into a unified view and uses AI-driven analysis inside investment and client workflows. More than 1,400 firms across almost 60 countries rely on Addepar to oversee and advise on nearly $9 trillion in assets. Its open ecosystem connects with nearly 650 technology, data, and consulting partners to support investment operations end to end for organizations of all sizes and complexity. Addepar serves clients globally through offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, London, Edinburgh, Pune, Dubai, Geneva, and São Paulo.

Role Overview

Addepar is hiring a Strategic Events Program Manager for its Field Marketing & Advocacy team. This role is centered on strategy and program ownership rather than event logistics. You will own the full strategy, planning, and delivery of client-facing events, including the annual user conference (AddeConf), executive summits, and the community meetup program.

The position involves defining the purpose of each event, setting measurable success criteria, shaping the content plan, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and tracking impact from attendance through business outcomes. You will work closely with Account Management, GTM, R&D, Product Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure each program delivers meaningful results, not just a strong attendee experience.

The right candidate combines strategic thinking, strong program management, and clear marketing communication. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, aligning multiple teams, and using data to decide what makes a client event a worthwhile investment.

Compensation and Work Authorization

Addepar uses a market-based compensation approach. The starting salary is determined by the role, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, location, and prevailing market conditions. For Colorado, California, and New York, the posted base salary range for this position is $94,000 to $148,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The recruiter can provide the location-specific range during the hiring process. The stated range covers base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without needing current or future visa sponsorship. This includes being able to start work in the U.S. on the first day of employment.

Key Responsibilities

You will own the full lifecycle of strategic event programs, from concept and content planning through live execution and post-event measurement. This includes aligning the program with business objectives and audience engagement goals.

Event strategy and ownership

  • Define each event’s strategic goals, target audience, and success measures so the program has a clear business rationale and can demonstrate ROI.
  • Own event-level KPIs and present post-event performance reporting to senior stakeholders.

Content and agenda planning

  • Lead agenda creation by shaping session flow, themes, and narrative structure so the event tells one connected story.
  • Work with Product Marketing, R&D, and GTM teams to develop content and align on the core messages that guide the agenda.
  • Manage content creation end to end, including deadlines, content calendars, speaker preparation, and structured rehearsal sessions.
  • Coordinate speaker logistics before and during the event.
  • Create a plan to extend event content before and after the event through promotion, post-event distribution, and integration with PMM and enablement efforts.

Stakeholder coordination

  • Run a cross-functional working group across Marketing, GTM, R&D, and executive leadership to align on goals, timelines, and ownership.
  • Partner with the Client Advocacy team to source and prepare client speakers and ensure authentic client voices are represented throughout each program.

Delivery and attendee experience

  • Oversee end-to-end event delivery, including venue planning, audio/visual needs, run of show, vendor coordination, on-site execution, and attendee experience.
  • Map and manage the attendee journey from pre-event communications through on-site navigation and post-event follow-up.
  • Prepare and manage event budgets.
  • Travel to key events several times a year, mainly within the U.S., with occasional international travel for global events.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in Client Marketing, Events, or a closely related function, with direct ownership of large, multi-stakeholder events from strategy through measurement. A strong record of setting event strategy, designing content agendas, and reporting ROI to senior leadership is important.

Experience in B2B technology or financial services is preferred, and exposure to wealth management, fintech, or enterprise SaaS is considered an advantage. You should also be comfortable building and managing budgets, holding teams accountable, handling competing priorities, and keeping complex programs moving without missing details. Strong writing and verbal communication skills are essential, especially for turning vague objectives into clear briefs, project plans, and stakeholder updates.

Values

  • Act with ownership by operating intentionally, purposefully, and with care, while taking responsibility for outcomes.
  • Build collaboratively to find the strongest solutions and create durable value.
  • Put clients first and aim to exceed expectations because client success drives the company’s success.
  • Push innovation by thinking boldly and solving problems in new ways.
  • Keep learning by engaging with the community, broadening perspective, and maintaining a growth mindset.

Equal Opportunity and Accommodation

Addepar is an equal opportunity employer and values a workplace that brings together a broad mix of ideas, experiences, skills, perspectives, backgrounds, and identities to support innovative work. The company is committed to fostering a welcoming environment where inclusion and belonging are shared responsibilities.

Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities during the application process, interviews, essential job functions, and access to other employment benefits and privileges. Candidates can contact the company to request accommodation.

Phishing Scam Notice

Addepar has warned applicants about a phishing scam involving people impersonating hiring managers through email, text, and social media. These imposters may conduct fake remote interviews and issue fraudulent offers to gather personal and financial information. Legitimate job offers will only follow a formal interview process, and the company will never ask candidates to buy equipment or supplies as part of onboarding. Questions can be directed to [email protected].
