Position overview
Universitätsklinikum Würzburg is looking for a Study Nurse (m/w/d) to support clinical study activities in a collaborative medical environment. The role combines patient care, study coordination, documentation, and communication between the clinical team, monitors, and participants.
What the role involves
- Support study preparation and execution, including prescreening and helping identify, inform, and enroll suitable participants.
- Provide care and follow-up for patients enrolled in Phase I to IV studies.
- Help develop study protocols and related study materials.
- Act as a point of contact between the investigator, monitor, and patient.
- Assist during study visits as well as audits and inspections.
- Contribute to the preparation and completion of case report forms (CRFs) and other study documentation, including work in digital software systems.
What you need
- Completed vocational training as a registered nurse (Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachmann) or as a medical assistant (MFA), including equivalent earlier nursing qualifications.
- Either already qualified as a Study Nurse or the prerequisites and willingness to obtain this qualification.
- Readiness to learn hospital information systems and other software tools such as iMedidata.
- Basic English skills.
- Independent, careful, and responsible way of working.
- Good computer skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
