Job description
About the role
This position is for experienced quantitative specialists who can help improve AI systems. The work involves assessing machine-generated quantitative analysis, tackling technical problem-solving tasks, and offering structured feedback that influences how AI models handle data, modeling, and scientific reasoning.
Candidates from fields such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other mathematically grounded disciplines are encouraged, provided they can think critically about data and models. Some people do this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus.
Once you create an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will then become available.
Contracting advantages

- The role lets you work independently on your own computer and from home.
- Pay is hourly, beginning at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and certain projects may include bonus rates.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-created quantitative work for correctness, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific logic, and data-driven conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems, covering forecasting, experimental design, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce concise technical write-ups and maintain well-organized analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps refine future AI models for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a closely related area.
- Basic coding ability is required, along with comfort in writing and reviewing analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, with excellent written communication.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise, such as a Kaggle ranking, AWS/GCP ML certification, or similar credentials, is a plus.
