Job description

About the Company

GTI Fabrication is a contract manufacturing partner serving businesses in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. The company builds custom enclosures and skids, and handles mechanical and electrical integration internally to deliver complete turnkey solutions. Work at GTI covers everything from engineering and prototype development through full-scale production, so the environment calls for speed, adaptability, and careful execution.

Company Values

GTI emphasizes safety, quality, customer focus, speed, and agility.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst will examine, organize, and interpret supply chain information to improve decision-making and strengthen operational results. The role supports the uninterrupted movement of materials from suppliers into production and onward to customers.

This position is best suited to someone with strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, and comfort working with cross-functional teams to improve inventory control, procurement performance, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and interpret data related to inventory, lead times, supplier performance, purchase orders, and production schedules.
  • Create and update dashboards and reports that monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, material availability, and supplier performance.
  • Support demand planning and forecasting by studying historical trends and working closely with Procurement and Operations.
  • Spot supply chain delays, inefficiencies, and risks, then suggest practical improvements backed by data.
  • Track material flow through purchasing, production, and shipping to maintain accuracy and visibility.
  • Partner with procurement teams to assess supplier performance, cost patterns, and sourcing approaches.
  • Keep ERP/MRP records accurate, with NetSuite as the preferred system, so planning, inventory, and finance data remain aligned.
  • Assist with inventory control activities such as cycle counts, variance reviews, and safety stock optimization.
  • Contribute to process improvements that make the supply chain faster and more responsive.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports to help leadership make informed decisions.
  • Travel to site 100%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, data analysis, or operations support, with manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including comfort working with complex datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros, plus familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP platforms, preferably NetSuite.
  • Good understanding of supply chain fundamentals, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across departments.
  • High accuracy, strong organization, and close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial, modular, or manufacturing settings.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methods.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data extraction tools.
  • Ability to build or automate dashboards and KPI tracking tools.

Benefits and Perks

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company match where applicable.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Sick leave in line with state and local rules.
  • Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage.
  • Opportunities to grow within a fast-expanding organization.
  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing, modular infrastructure, and large industrial projects.
  • A collaborative, fast-moving workplace with strong operational and engineering leadership.
  • An employee-first culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
