Supply Chain Analyst

Role overview

Bazooka Farmstar is looking for a data-focused Supply Chain Analyst who can turn numbers into practical decisions for plant and procurement operations. This position is centered on system accuracy, inventory control, commodity analysis, and financial-to-operational reconciliation rather than traditional negotiation work.

The analyst will support the procurement function by keeping inventory data reliable, setting system rules correctly, and using tools such as Power BI and SQL to generate insights that help reduce variances and protect margins.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate, and refresh Min/Max settings in Macola so automated replenishment and scheduling signals align with actual demand.
• Develop, update, and interpret Power BI dashboards and SQL-based reports to monitor commodity price movement and limit gross margin pressure.
• Study inventory turnover by value stream, including COGS/turns analysis, and recommend concrete reduction goals.
• Work with Accounting and Plant Management to monitor aging stock and close gaps between the General Ledger and ERP inventory records.
• Gather baseline cost information and convert it into target pricing inputs that support vendor discussions led by the buying team.

Requirements

• A degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or another relevant discipline.
• Strong command of Excel, including Power Query and VBA, along with hands-on experience in Power BI and SQL.
• Solid understanding of ERP system design; Macola experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent quantitative reasoning and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Capability to turn raw operational data into practical manufacturing recommendations.
