Job description

About the Business

This role sits within a fast-growing company that sources and supplies high-quality ingredients to customers in Ireland and overseas markets. As the business continues to expand, it is looking for a well-organised and commercially minded Supply Chain Coordinator to help keep product flow moving smoothly across several countries and supplier networks.

The Role

This position is a busy, hands-on operations role that calls for excellent coordination, communication, and troubleshooting skills. You will oversee the journey of fresh ingredients from supplier to customer, making sure service quality, product standards, and operational efficiency remain strong at every stage.

The role is well suited to someone with a background in food distribution, FMCG, logistics, or another fast-moving supply chain setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inbound and outbound transport activity across multiple countries.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight partners, warehouse teams, and customers to keep goods moving effectively.
  • Track stock levels, delivery timelines, and product availability.
  • Handle transport reservations and supply chain paperwork.
  • Keep communication clear and accurate between all internal teams and external partners.
  • Respond to operational and logistics challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory planning and forecasting tasks.
  • Protect service standards while helping to manage costs.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in supply chain processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or food coordination is required.
  • Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or similar high-volume sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, plus sound problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of systems and ERP platforms is an advantage.
  • A professional, collaborative, and team-focused approach.

What’s on Offer

  • The chance to become part of a growing, ambitious business.
  • Exposure to international supply chain activity.
  • A supportive and entrepreneurial workplace.
  • A competitive salary package, based on experience.
  • Opportunities for long-term career growth and development.
