About the Role

SibUS-In is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Director to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations in a remote, United States-based role. The position is centered on shaping supply chain strategy, managing procurement and suppliers, improving inventory performance, coordinating logistics, and driving process enhancements that support stable operations and business expansion.

Candidates with backgrounds in medical manufacturing, medical devices, industrial manufacturing, or similar industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day functioning and long-term planning of the supply chain function.
  • Design and execute supply chain strategies that keep operations efficient and dependable.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics activities across the supply chain.
  • Build, assess, and manage supplier relationships to maintain a dependable supply base.
  • Handle supply chain-related contract discussions and strengthen supplier partnerships.
  • Improve inventory control practices to raise turnover and lower operating expenses.
  • Develop supply plans aligned to business requirements and ensure timely execution.
  • Track market conditions and supply-side risks, then update strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with production, operations, quality, sales, and other internal teams.
  • Create, refine, and enforce supply chain processes and operating systems.
  • Guide, coach, and develop the supply chain team.
  • Support digital supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Take on other related duties assigned by the company.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or a closely related area.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and business negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive projects independently and deliver results.
  • Comfortable using office productivity tools and ERP platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling international supply chains or managing global supplier networks.
  • Background in supply chain optimization and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain software, and analytics tools.
  • Strong capability in contract negotiation and commercial discussions.
  • Experience collaborating across departments and managing projects.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in team development, training, and performance management.
  • Strong competence in data analysis and risk management.
  • Exposure to supply chain digital transformation and process improvement work.

Additional Information

This is a full-time telecommuting position based in the United States.
