Role overview
The Supply Chain Operations Coordinator will oversee inventory movement, coordinate vendor fulfillment, handle pricing administration, and keep product information accurate across five retail locations and one distribution centre. The role uses BisTrack ERP to improve stock availability, optimize inventory, and support efficient operations while working closely with the Purchasing, Store Operations, and Distribution teams.
Key responsibilities
- Track inventory levels and help keep stock balanced across five stores and the distribution centre.
- Work with approved vendors to coordinate product fulfillment and maintain timely availability.
- Arrange inventory movement between stores and the distribution centre to support stock distribution.
- Ensure pricing remains accurate and update supplier costs and margin details in BisTrack.
- Maintain product master records, including item creation, updates, and data quality checks.
- Review inventory trends, stock turnover, and replenishment needs to support operational goals.
- Prepare reports and share insights that help improve inventory performance and efficiency.
- Partner with Buyers, Store Managers, and Distribution staff to address supply chain issues and support customer service.
- Monitor vendor delivery performance, turnaround times, and fulfillment problems, and escalate issues when needed.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in inventory control, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
