Role overview
This opportunity sits within the EMEIA Supply Demand Management function in Apple’s Operations organisation, based at the European headquarters in Cork, Ireland. The role focuses on end-to-end planning for products in the EMEIA market so inventory is positioned correctly, at the right time, and available to customers when needed.
The team works closely with partners across Logistics, Reseller Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, and global groups to keep supply aligned with demand.
Key responsibilities
- Work across functions to maintain a healthy and balanced supply position throughout the EMEIA region while improving efficiency and execution.
- Design and carry out replenishment strategies that support strong inventory levels and help limit excess or obsolete stock.
- Drive production planning so factory output matches market demand and product is available across all channels.
- Study demand trends and forecasting signals using advanced analytical methods and current market intelligence.
- Manage supply flows between factories and regional hubs to support availability across the region.
- Monitor KPIs and performance measures, then use the findings to improve supply chain outcomes.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Logistics, and global teams.
- Communicate clearly with partners, and lead continuous improvement efforts across supply chain processes and systems.
Required background
- Substantial experience in supply chain or an analytical role within FMCG or a similar industry.
- Strong capability in analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to use data and tools to inform decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with internal and external partners.
- A self-motivated, accountable, and results-focused working style.
- Comfort presenting complex analytical findings to senior audiences in a way that is practical and easy to act on.
