Role Overview
This position is the customer-facing technical sales role that bridges solution design, advisory support, and value realization. The Systems Engineer will guide customers through security transformation, shape technical solutions around business priorities, and help position Palo Alto Networks as a trusted cybersecurity partner across on-premises, cloud, and security operations environments.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute technical account strategies that support sales goals and cross-platform opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into high-level solution designs across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
- Support customer adoption by helping improve productivity, operational efficiency, security effectiveness, and flexibility for innovation.
- Run discovery discussions to identify technical, operational, and commercial needs.
- Work with Professional Services, Customer Success, and specialist teams to drive implementation and adoption.
- Deliver presentations, customer workshops, and tailored demonstrations that explain complex ideas clearly.
- Lead technical validation activities and use best practices to help secure technical wins.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to present a unified solution strategy.
- Promote end-to-end solutions, including Palo Alto Networks and partner services, to accelerate customer value.
- Differentiate the company’s cybersecurity offerings against competitors.
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders and help shape a security architecture transformation roadmap.
Experience and Qualifications
The role calls for 6+ years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering. Strong hands-on knowledge is expected in at least one area such as networking, network security, cybersecurity, private or public cloud security, SOC/endpoint, or SASE. Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions, influencing stakeholders, handling technical presentations and validation sessions, and working with customer support teams is preferred. Background in complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and multi-product solutions is an advantage. This is a field sales role, so travel may be needed for in-person customer meetings. Strong English and Arabic skills are required.
