Job description

About the company

More Than Models is a WBENC-certified, woman-owned staffing agency serving brands across the country. The company focuses on trade shows, live events, experiential marketing, and brand activations, with a strong presence in the technology and gaming space.

The agency’s people-first approach centers on professionalism, dependability, clear communication, and a strong work ethic. Its talent roster includes brand ambassadors, product specialists, game and technology demonstrators, and event hosts who help create engaging experiences for clients’ audiences.

The organization aims to set a higher bar in event staffing by building long-term relationships with both clients and talent, while operating with integrity, accountability, collaboration, and a drive for quality.

Role overview

This is a full-time remote position for a highly organized and detail-focused Talent Coordinator. The role is open only to candidates based in the United States, specifically in Texas, Florida, or Virginia.

The position suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, balancing several priorities at once, and supporting both talent and internal operations. The right candidate will communicate well, handle data confidently, and help keep staffing workflows running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide talent through onboarding and make sure all required documents are submitted correctly and on schedule.
  • Keep talent informed about assignments, schedules, expectations, and event-related updates.
  • Provide support and help resolve issues before, during, and after events.
  • Build strong working relationships with talent and help create a positive experience.
  • Keep talent information accurate and up to date across several systems and databases.
  • Check onboarding files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with large datasets in Google Sheets and internal staffing platforms.
  • Audit records and refresh information whenever needed to maintain data quality.
  • Organize talent submissions and prioritize candidates using factors such as market, experience, and interest in the brand or product.
  • Track staffing details and maintain operational records.
  • Write clear, polished messages for talent, colleagues, and clients.
  • Support scheduling, staffing coordination, and general administrative work.
  • Help daily operations so events are staffed efficiently and successfully.
  • Work closely with teammates to meet deadlines and operational targets.

Schedule

Standard working days are Monday through Friday. Some evenings and weekends may also be required during busy event periods.

Compensation and benefits

Pay is $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Advanced comfort using Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Forms.
  • Strong written communication skills with careful attention to detail, including professional email writing and the ability to summarize information clearly.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Background in administrative, operational, or coordinator-level support.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive working style.

Preferred:

  • Experience in event staffing, experiential marketing, talent management, recruiting, or workforce coordination.
  • Experience with onboarding, scheduling, or staffing operations.
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Work culture

The team values accountability, proactive communication, and mutual support. Team members are encouraged to ask questions, take ownership of their work, and approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset.

The environment is collaborative and supportive, with high standards for professionalism but a friendlier, less corporate feel than many traditional offices.
