Job description
Role overview
Easygo is seeking a Talent Partner to support hiring across the Operations function, with a particular focus on the Legal and Finance teams. In this Melbourne-based, onsite role, you will help shape the organisation’s growth by finding, attracting, and retaining strong talent in highly competitive markets.
This is a six-month fixed-term contract and requires full-time work from the Melbourne office.
What you’ll do
- Run end-to-end recruitment processes, from role intake and job description creation through to interviews, offer negotiations, and candidate onboarding support.
- Partner with Legal and Finance Hiring Managers and Department Heads to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and build effective recruitment plans.
- Source candidates through multiple channels such as resume databases, Boolean searches, professional networks, referrals, and industry contacts.
- Connect with both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing methods.
- Screen candidates by phone, video, or in person, then present a shortlist that aligns with compensation guidance provided by People & Culture.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and keep hiring managers, stakeholders, and candidates prepared at every stage.
- Maintain accurate candidate and role activity in the Greenhouse ATS, including notes, job postings, and employee referrals.
- Help hiring managers create competency-based interview questions that improve consistency and decision quality.
- Advise business leaders on time-to-fill expectations, salary positioning, candidate market conditions, and pool quality.
- Coach hiring managers and other stakeholders who are new to interviewing or recruitment.
- Keep candidates engaged, informed, and supported throughout the hiring journey.
What success looks like
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, either fully in-house or as a mix of internal and agency work.
- Proven ability to source and engage talent across different sectors.
- Experience working with legal or finance functions, or within a fast-moving environment, along with relevant networks and market knowledge.
- Strong ability to prioritise work, stay organised, and operate transparently and accountably.
- Comfort with problem-solving in a changing, high-paced organisation.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while staying open to new industries and technologies.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional development in talent, HR, coaching, project management, or related areas will be looked on positively.
About you
- You can write engaging job ads and contribute to employer brand content when needed.
- You stay positive and resilient when briefs are difficult or market conditions are challenging.
- You can build strong relationships with external partners such as agencies, vendors, universities, and industry groups.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- An interest in sport or online streaming communities would be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Easygo and its brands, including Stake, Kick, and Twist, would strengthen your application.
Benefits and perks
- You’ll gain hands-on learning opportunities in a fast-moving environment.
- High performers can progress quickly, with many team members moving up in role each year.
- Primary carers receive 18 weeks of paid parental leave.
- Compensation is benchmarked to market and location.
- Eligible employees can receive a performance-based bonus of up to 20%.
- Employee referrals are rewarded with a referral bonus.
- Free coffee, fresh juices, and smoothies are available from in-house baristas.
- Breakfast is provided daily, along with regular company events.
- Snack walls and drink fridges are available on every floor.
- The office includes modern amenities such as pool tables, table tennis, gaming consoles, and an F1 simulator.
