Job description
Role overview
An opportunity has opened within the Adult Forensic Service for a proactive, enthusiastic, and independent Team Administrator. The role sits within the Clinical Support Administration Team and involves regular communication with managers, clinicians, and administrative colleagues at different levels.
What the role involves
The successful person will deliver a thorough and reliable administrative support service to the clinical team, helping ensure time and resources are used effectively. The position calls for someone with strong administrative ability and the personal approach needed to support a busy service.
Core duties include producing minutes, typing reports and other correspondence, managing diaries, and coordinating meetings. The post also requires acting as a first point of contact for the service, handling enquiries in a professional, tactful, and sensitive way, while supporting senior leaders with responsive clerical and administrative assistance.
Skills and personal qualities
This post is suited to someone who works well in a fast-moving environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and can organise tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and solid organisational ability are essential, along with a positive attitude and the confidence to support a complex and often challenging client group.
