Teamcenter Administrator

Role Overview

This position is centered on supporting CAD and PLM implementation efforts, working closely with international business teams to convert business needs into practical, industry-aligned solutions. The role also includes improving existing systems, building new capabilities based on user input, and finding ways to streamline applications. In addition, it helps drive global standardization of engineering tools across CAD/CAM/CAE environments and uses data analysis to uncover root causes behind errors and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Handle Teamcenter administration activities, including license control, installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and patch updates.
• Work independently on solution enhancements and related improvements.
• Partner with business stakeholders on high-impact and important projects.
• Support end-user and customer satisfaction through stable business processes.
• Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and help resolve incidents to keep the PLM environment reliable.
• Assist users and key users through the service desk or ticketing system, with a focus on incident and problem resolution.
• Deliver training to end users in relevant functional areas when needed.
• Contribute as part of a project team to deliver work defined in project scope.
• Manage Siemens Teamcenter product configuration tasks.
• Support Siemens NX customer default administration and NX Open scripting.
• Use PowerShell scripting as part of the role.
• Apply knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and data model.
• Work with BMIDE configurations and deployments.
• Support NX and NX integration, including customer default management.
• Use NX Open automation scripting.
• Understand Catia TCIC integration.
• Work with workflow designer tools.
• Be available for national and international travel as required.
• Operate effectively in a global, remote working environment across all levels of the organization.
• Support a global role covering all company sites, with day and overnight travel up to 25% for domestic and international locations.

Requirements

• Background in Information Technology or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience working on Teamcenter and NX projects.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter product configuration.
• Practical knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter architecture and data model.
• Experience with BMIDE configuration and deployment.
• Working knowledge of NX and its integration, including customer default management.
• Experience using NX Open automation scripting.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with Catia TCIC integration.
• Ability to work with workflow designer tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, and incident-resolution skills.
• Comfort working remotely and collaborating with global stakeholders.

Additional Information

This is a full-time remote role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The position focuses on supporting global engineering tool standardization and improving PLM/CAD solutions across the organization. Travel requirements may include up to 25% day and overnight travel to domestic and international locations.
