What the role requires
The successful candidate will bring strong technical credibility and practical experience in certification, compliance, auditing, quality systems, or assurance programmes. You should be comfortable engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, interpreting standards and technical rules, and offering clear, workable guidance.
Qualifications and experience

- Solid understanding of quality management systems and certification processes.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply standards, regulations, and technical requirements.

- Experience with organic standards and certification frameworks.
- Background in product certification, including auditing, assessment, or programme management.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and accreditation requirements.
- Experience working with regulators, accreditation bodies, industry organisations, or standard owners.
- Auditor qualifications or certification experience in food, agriculture, horticulture, manufacturing, or related sectors.
Candidate fit
Applicants from organics, food assurance, primary industries, product certification, or quality systems management will all be considered, provided they bring the technical depth and leadership needed to uphold programme quality and industry trust.
