Job description

Role overview

Nozomi Networks is growing its Delivery team and is looking for a Technical Support Engineer in Doha, Qatar. The company builds AI-driven cybersecurity technology that protects OT and IoT environments used by major organizations and critical infrastructure across the world. This position focuses on delivering high-quality technical support, solving complex issues, and improving support processes with a high degree of independence.

The organization serves customers in more than 68 countries and works across sectors such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, resources, and other critical infrastructure environments.

What you will do

  • Represent the company’s culture and mission by working with transparency, trust, and a strong focus on protecting critical assets.
  • Handle post-sale troubleshooting, break-fix support, and technical collaboration with stakeholders to close customer issues.
  • Support customers with infrastructure planning, deployment, validation, testing, and performance improvement.
  • Work directly with customers to resolve technical problems and coordinate internally with Product and Engineering teams when needed.
  • Build strong expertise across the full product portfolio and related technologies.
  • Write new knowledge base articles when documentation is missing and refresh existing content so solutions are positioned accurately.
  • Develop a clear understanding of sensitive customer environments and critical infrastructure setups.
  • Deliver attentive, high-touch support for strategic or critical accounts.
  • Recreate customer-reported problems in a lab environment before escalating them internally.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate has prior customer-facing experience in roles such as Technical Support Engineer or Systems Engineer, along with a background in network security. Hands-on experience with Unix-based systems, virtualization, scripting, and API integrations is important, as is familiarity with common networking and security protocols and applications.

You should also have practical experience installing, configuring, and operating security appliances in large, complex environments, together with a strong grasp of information security principles and excellent troubleshooting ability. Strong written and spoken English, confident communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work within strict confidentiality and data-privacy requirements are expected.

Additional strengths include comfort with FreeBSD, knowledge of PostgreSQL, experience in ICS security projects, and the ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly as part of daily work. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
