Role overview
This full-time position is based in Riyadh and is aimed at a Telecom BIM Coordinator who can bring strong coordination capability to a technically demanding rail environment. The role calls for someone collaborative, detail-focused, and comfortable working across multiple disciplines to help ensure data, models, and design information are produced and handed over correctly throughout the project lifecycle.
In this role, you will work closely with teams such as Civil Work Design, Subsystem Installation, and System Validation. Your work will include coordinating interfaces between systems, supporting BIM and built meetings, resolving geometric conflicts, managing required metadata, and helping review model quality and interferences. You will also assist the Design Civil Work Interface & BIM Manager with design development and technical validation activities.
Key responsibilities
- Apply BIM procedures, working methods, and guidance to support collaborative data production and delivery.
- Oversee the project’s modelling approach and BIM outputs across all delivery phases.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between different systems and disciplines.
- Lead integration design discussions in BIM and built meetings.
- Track the delivery timeline for Civil Work design in BIM and subsystem installation design in BIM.
- Check submitted models for clashes, interferences, and compliance with the expected level of detail.
- Support design development management activities.
- Help verify deliverables as part of system technical validation.
Requirements
- A degree in architecture, civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in BIM engineering or other technical project functions.
- Hands-on experience coordinating BIM on large infrastructure or rail projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows and digital model coordination.
- Practical knowledge of tools such as Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Exposure to collaborative platforms such as ProjectWise.
- Ability to manage interfaces across several technical disciplines.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
