Territory Service Representative

About the Role

Blue Dart is seeking a Territory Service Representative to manage delivery and pickup operations in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. This role involves ensuring efficient and accurate handling of shipments, maintaining customer satisfaction, and adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Manage the unloading of shipments from vehicles.
• Scan and process all incoming shipments.
• Perform primary and secondary sorting of packages.
• Outscan shipments according to designated delivery routes.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of shipments to customer addresses.
• Obtain customer acknowledgments using a device (BYOD).
• Update status codes for undelivered shipments with correct reasons.
• Hand over collected Cash on Delivery (COD) amounts to the supervisor daily.
• Return undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance with proper dress code and field bags.
• Execute pickups as per SOP and within specified cut-off timings.
• Verify serviceability of pickup locations.
• Count and record the number of shipments for pickup, obtaining customer acknowledgment.
• Inscan picked-up shipments at the office and perform Rapid entry.
• Conduct primary and secondary sorting for outgoing shipments.
• Manage the bagging process for shipments.
• Load canvas bags onto vehicles for dispatch.
• Ensure timely arrival at destinations for efficient connections.

Additional Information

A comprehensive training will be provided to cover the delivery process. Adherence to a proper dress code and carrying field bags are mandatory for all delivery points.
