Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and quality-focused Test Analyst to join the technology team in a full-time position. This is an entry-level to mid-level role centered on planning, carrying out, and recording software testing work so that applications satisfy business needs, functional expectations, and quality benchmarks before they are released.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business, functional, and technical specifications and turn them into detailed testing approaches and scenarios.
  • Build, update, and run test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Carry out functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
  • Find software defects, document them clearly, rank them by priority, and follow them until they are resolved.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to help maintain product quality.
  • Check that the application meets requirements for functionality, ease of use, performance, and reliability.
  • Join requirement reviews and provide quality-focused input throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and progress updates for test execution.
  • Assist with automation testing efforts and help improve testing processes and methods over time.
  • Follow quality standards, testing best practices, and internal procedures.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in software testing, quality assurance, test analysis, or a similar area is preferred.
  • Good understanding of testing methods, defect lifecycle handling, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to create test cases, test plans, test scripts, and defect documentation.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM, or comparable tools.
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing practices.
  • Exposure to SQL, databases, APIs, and system integrations is beneficial.
  • Experience or familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or similar technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and written documentation ability.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

What We Offer

  • The chance to contribute to innovative software products and digital transformation work.
  • Exposure to modern testing tools, automation frameworks, and quality assurance practices.
  • A collaborative workplace that is technology-driven and focused on quality.
  • Opportunities to grow into roles such as Senior Test Analyst, QA Engineer, Automation Test Engineer, Test Lead, or Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Ongoing learning support, certification assistance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
