Role overview

B&Q Ireland is hiring a Trading Team Manager designate for the ROI area, covering Athlone and Galway. The position is offered as a permanent contract with a weekly working time of 36.75 hours. About the opportunity

The purpose of the role is to help deliver strong commercial performance on the sales floor while coaching colleagues so the store team can better serve customers. The manager is expected to help create an inclusive, high-performing environment where customers receive a great in-store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial performance on the core trading sales floor, including stock control, range updates, and promotional activity.
• Review performance regularly using sales figures, loyalty information, and customer feedback to guide decisions.
• Coach and support colleagues so they deepen their product knowledge and create better customer interactions.
