User Experience Designer

About the Role

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Designer for a 6-month contract position, with excellent prospects for extension. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence the design of large-scale, customer-centric digital products for a prominent global insurance company. You will be instrumental in crafting the complete user journey, from initial research and discovery phases through to interaction design, prototyping, and rigorous usability testing. The position is situated within a dynamic, agile setting, requiring close collaboration with product development and engineering departments to produce intuitive, user-focused solutions that cater to a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead UX initiatives encompassing research, discovery, and conceptualization.
• Map out user journeys, define interaction flows, and establish information architecture.
• Develop detailed wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Execute and interpret usability testing, refining designs based on gathered feedback.
• Engage effectively with cross-functional agile teams.
• Present design concepts and articulate design rationale clearly.
• Uphold adherence to established UX best practices and design system guidelines.

Skills and Experience Required

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX design.
• A robust portfolio showcasing comprehensive end-to-end UX project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience working within agile product development environments.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
