About the Company

ZenaTech (Nasdaq: ZENA | FSE: 49Q) is a technology business focused on AI drones, Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), enterprise SaaS, and quantum computing for mission-critical use cases. Founded in 2017, it has built on its software engineering background and, through ZenaDrone, expanded into drone design and manufacturing to improve customer workflows in inspection, monitoring, safety, security, compliance, and surveying.

Role Overview

The product team is seeking a UI/UX Designer who is enthusiastic about crafting polished, practical, and engaging digital experiences that solve real user problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create clear and visually appealing interfaces for both web and mobile products.
  • Convert research insights, user feedback, and business goals into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Run user tests, study the outcomes, and refine designs based on what is learned.
  • Work closely with business system analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to turn concepts into working products.
  • Support and improve the design system so that the product maintains a consistent look and feel across platforms.
  • Keep current with evolving UI/UX practices, tools, and technologies.

What the Company Is Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in UI/UX design or a closely related discipline.
  • Comfort using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates user-centered thinking and quality interface design.
  • Hands-on experience producing wireframes, prototypes, and visual design assets.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and basic HTML/CSS concepts.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A sharp attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for building great user experiences.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Exposure to design systems or reusable component libraries.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development.
  • Experience working in Agile environments or startup settings.
