About the Role

Hippo Motor Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Valeter to join our team in Peterborough. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all sold vehicles are prepared to the highest possible standards before they reach our customers. This involves performing comprehensive valeting services, including single-stage machine polishing and the application of specialized paint protection coatings. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality in every vehicle they prepare.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough valeting of all sold vehicles to achieve showroom-ready condition.
• Execute single-stage machine polishing to enhance paintwork and rectify minor imperfections.
• Apply advanced paint protection coatings to safeguard the vehicle's exterior.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
• Keep all tools, equipment, and the work area clean and well-maintained.
• Work efficiently to meet delivery and collection deadlines.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Undertake any other vehicle preparation tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in vehicle valeting and machine polishing.
• Proficiency in applying paint protection coatings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Possession of a full UK driving license is mandatory.
