Job description
About the Company
Akash Immigrations & Career Consultants is a specialist advisory firm focused on overseas education and coaching support. The company helps students make well-informed choices about higher studies at universities and colleges abroad. It shares current guidance on study options in destinations such as Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, while also assisting with the often complicated admission and immigration journey.
Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position in Ludhiana East is focused on managing the complete visa application workflow for students pursuing international education. The officer will prepare, check, and file visa applications, make sure documents are correct and complete, and ensure all submissions follow the latest immigration rules. The role also involves working closely with students and their families, collecting required paperwork, explaining visa steps, tracking each case, and sharing regular status updates.
Key Duties
The role includes liaising with consulates, embassies, and partner institutions whenever needed, handling queries, resolving basic immigration-related concerns, and supporting the counseling team in providing dependable, student-centered service. Strong record-keeping and timely follow-up are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should understand visa procedures and immigration requirements well enough to apply current rules accurately. The job calls for excellent communication, customer handling, and interpersonal abilities, along with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage several files and deadlines at once. Basic computer use and document management skills are important, and familiarity with immigration portals will be considered an advantage. Experience in immigration consulting, overseas education counseling, or a similar administrative position is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in any field is required, and additional training in immigration or international education is a plus.
Work Location
This role requires regular on-site attendance in Ludhiana East and collaboration within a professional, service-oriented team.
