Job description
Role Overview
The Warehouse Operations Manager is a part-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role follows a hybrid setup, with time split between on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. It is focused on managing the day-to-day movement and storage of materials that help support OGPD programs and events.
What You Will Do
You will lead warehouse activity from receiving goods to storing, organizing, and sending out materials. The position also includes building staff schedules, allocating tasks, reviewing performance, and keeping operations safe, efficient, and compliant. A key part of the job is ensuring inventory remains accurate, space is used effectively, and equipment and supplies are managed well.
In addition, you will help put in place processes that reduce delays and losses, work closely with internal teams and outside partners, and handle logistics issues so materials reach project locations on time.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory ability, including coordinating teams, tracking performance, and providing coaching in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Solid experience in operations and warehouse management, with the ability to design, run, and improve daily workflows.
- Practical knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and controls that help reduce shrinkage.
- Strong customer service approach for communicating clearly and constructively with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
- Comfort using warehouse management systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
- Understanding of safety practices, compliance expectations, and warehouse operating standards.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi within a hybrid arrangement and to carry out physically demanding warehouse tasks where reasonable accommodations permit.
- Experience supporting non-profit, education, or program-related logistics is considered an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
