Job description
About the Role
Games Workshop operates more than 550 stores worldwide, each acting as an entry point into the Warhammer universe. These locations are more than standard retail outlets — they are designed for customers to explore miniatures, learn about the hobby, and connect with the wider Warhammer community.
As a store representative, you will be the first person customers meet. Your role will focus on introducing people to Warhammer, offering practical hobby advice, and creating a welcoming environment that makes every visit enjoyable.
The company is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting the Warhammer hobby in their local area and who can help the store grow while keeping the hobby active in the community.
This position is based in Warhammer Göttingen, which is a single-staffed store. That means the role suits someone who is comfortable working alone, stays well organised, and always presents themselves in a polished and professional manner.
Working Style and Culture
Games Workshop values people who take time to understand the needs of the business and act in line with those priorities at work. The company places strong emphasis on attitude, behaviour, and professionalism, considering these qualities even more important than previous skills or experience.
You will be joining a fun retail setting with an engaged customer base, and you will receive the training and support needed to succeed in the role.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and create a positive first impression in store.
- Guide new and existing customers through the Warhammer hobby with practical, hands-on support.
- Help build an enjoyable and memorable customer experience every time someone visits.
- Make day-to-day store decisions that support growth and strengthen the local hobby community.
- Work independently in a single-staffed environment while keeping the store organised and professional.
- Represent the Warhammer brand in a cheerful, customer-focused, and professional way.
Requirements
- Strong customer service mindset and a genuine focus on helping people.
- A cheerful, professional, and approachable manner.
- Comfort working independently without constant supervision.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage responsibilities alone.
- Ability to maintain a polished personal presentation at all times.
- Willingness to put the company’s priorities first while at work.
- Flexibility to provide a criminal background check in line with local legal requirements.
Benefits
- Competitive salary aligned to a global pay banding structure.
- Company pension plan.
- Sharesave scheme.
- Access to training and ongoing support.
- Recognition programmes.
- Staff discount on products.
